Throughout her career, Maria Cristina has collaborated with top branding and advertising agencies, leading the creative development of high-impact visual projects and events. Notably, she played a pivotal role in the production of the inaugural Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Guatemala, orchestrating backstage and runway experiences that not only set a new standard for fashion in the region but also left a lasting mark on the fashion scene.

 As co-founder and former brand and style director of luxury womenswear label LIA COHEN, Maria Cristina applied her creative vision to build a brand from the ground up, helping to shape its identity and oversee its growth into a renowned name in fashion in her native Guatemala where the brand is based. Her unique ability to merge business acumen with artistic direction has been a key factor in her success.

Maria Cristina's strong foundation in fashion design was honed at the prestigious Instituto Marangoni in Milan, and further complemented by her studies in fashion merchandising at the Miami International University of Art and Design. She holds a bachelor's degree in business and is a certified image consultant, combining a robust academic background with practical industry experience.

Now based in Miami, Florida, Maria Cristina continues to push creative boundaries. She also enjoys a fulfilling personal life with her husband Nick and their beloved dog Archibald, which adds a personal touch to her professional profile.
